DJ Tdot Weddings

Privacy Policy

Last updated August 22, 2026

DJ Tdot Weddings is an Ottawa wedding DJ and MC. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you visit this site or get in touch, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible and we never sell it.

Who we are

DJ Tdot Weddings, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. For anything about your personal information, email [email protected].

What we collect

When you send the Book Your Date form: your name, email address, phone number, wedding date, number of guests and the package you are considering.

When you email or call us: whatever you choose to share, such as venue details and music preferences.

When you visit the site: anonymous, cookie-free usage statistics described below.

Why we collect it

To check availability, reply to you, prepare your quote and agreement, and plan and run your event. We use your contact details only to talk with you about your booking. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

Website statistics

We count visits with a privacy-friendly method that uses no cookies and no advertising trackers. We do not store your IP address and we do not build profiles of visitors — we only see totals such as how many people visited and which buttons were used.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the business: the company that hosts this website, the service that delivers form submissions to our inbox, and the tools we use for contracts and invoicing. Each processes only what it needs to do that job. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking requests that do not become bookings are deleted within about a year. Event details and financial records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting requirements (generally up to seven years), then deleted.

Security

Your information travels over encrypted connections and is stored on access-controlled systems with strong passwords. No method is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, proportionate steps to protect what you share with us.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Canada’s federal privacy law (PIPEDA) applies, and you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you have a concern we could not resolve.

Cookies

Our own site does not set tracking cookies. Our hosting and security provider may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from abuse.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
